The Zoning Inspector, has provided some information on common zoning questions that are received along with the zoning rates.  If you have any zoning questions, please contact Mrs. Brandi Baez at 419-266-0183.

1. GARAGE SALES - A limit of 3 per year and each has a limit of no more than 3 consecutive days. No permit is needed. If you have 4 or more within one year - you need a permit.

2. DRIVEWAYS - No permit is needed and it can be up to the property line.

3. STORAGE BARNS - Up to 100 square feet with no fee, permit still required. Must be at least 10 feet from the property lines.

4. SWIMMING POOLS - All pools need permits and fences.

5. FENCES - require permits and cannot be more than 4' high in the front yard, 6' high in the side yard, and 8' high in the rear yard.

Following, are the current permit rates adopted by the Board of Trustees of Sandusky Township Effective September 18, 2018.

•  2000 Sq. Ft and Up - $75.00

• Signs: Up To 40 Sq. Ft - $50.00
• Over 40 Sq. Ft - $75.00
• Outdoor Wood Fired Furnace - $75.00
• Windmill - $35.00          

Commercial & Industrial     

• Up To 1999 Sq. Ft - $150.00
• 2000 Sq. Ft and Up - $200.00
